A Message to Members of the Parish from Middleton St George Parish Council

The Parish Council would like to assure everyone that we are taking all appropriate steps to keep Parish Council business going during the COVID-19 emergency.

If you need to get in touch with the Parish Council about any matter, please contact Alan Macnab, the Parish Council Clerk by email to msgclerk@aol.com, by telephoning him on 07722705008 or by writing to him at 5, Whitebridge Drive, Darlington, DL1 3TY.

We would also like to thank you for your understanding of certain measures we have had to take, such as closing the playground, the MUGA (multi use games area – behind the Community Centre), and the Water Park to vehicles, until such time that we are informed it is safe to re-open them. It is important to refrain from social gathering at the moment, and to keep social distancing.

It is wonderful to see all the community step up and help each other out.

There are those who provide key services in the village, as well as individuals and groups making a difference.
A big thank you to everyone.

We would, however, like to give a shout out to Consultant Oncologist Darren Leaning, who started up a community support group via Facebook:
(MSG COVID-19 Support Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/MSGCOVID19SupportGroup/).
Along with the Trustees of MSG Community Association, we truly thank the group for doing what they are doing.
If you wish to join the group to help out, please click and ask to join.

Stay Home
Stay Safe

Cllr Catherine Gilsenan
