The Borough Council have given notice that the current stage that they have reached in the process of replacing the Darlington Borough Local Plan. The Local Plan is being published in draft form and will cover policies and development allocations for the Borough.
The formal consultation exercise for the above document commences on 21 June 2018 and runs through to 2 August 2018. Information on how to access all the documents including the supporting evidence can be found on the Local Plan section of the Council’s website, at www.darlington.gov.uk/localplan
Copies of the Draft Local Plan are also available to view at council offices and local libraries and can be provided in other formats (a cost may be involved). Additionally, we are holding a number of drop in sessions around the Borough and a list of these is shown below.

The Sustainability Appraisal can be commented on separately here https://darlington-consult.objective.co.uk/portal/pp/draft_local_plan/localplansa. Comments can be posted in relation to the entire document, individual policies or sites.
