High Stell Appeal Decision

Dear Resident,

The Parish Council has just learned of Planning Inspectorate’s Decision on the High Stell Appeal. The Appeal Decision can be found here:  Planning Inspector Appeal Decision Land to the rear of High Stell. 30.07.2019

The developers now have permission to build the first 50 houses, with access via Grendon Gardens.

The Parish Council will be convening a Special Parish Council meeting at 6.30pm on Monday 12th August to discuss the High Stell development.

In the meantime, there are two days left in which objection letters can be submitted to Darlington Borough Council’s Footpath Diversion Order for the development site (deadline is 9th August). This is a separate process to the planning application process for the site, and we would urge you to submit your letters as soon as possible.
Details of the Order, and how to respond, are below.
