The Resumption of Face to Face Meetings. Arrangements for this Meeting.
The Government has decided that local authorities (including Parish Councils) face to face meetings must resume from the 7th May, 2021 and this was reinforced by a High Court ruling on the 28thApril, 2021.
The Parish Council has carried out a risk assessment on its Meeting Room. The risk assessment indicates that the risks from attendance in the Meeting Room are too high to justify a face to face meeting in the room at this time with more than 12 persons present.
Guidance from the NALC and the County Durham Association of Local Councils indicates that it is permissible for members of the public to access the meeting remotely. The remote link from the Parish Council Meeting Room be provided for members of the public to access the meeting remotely. The remote link from the Parish Council Meeting Room will also be provided to those Parish Councillors who are in the vulnerable category or who have close family members who are in the vulnerable category.
The Zoom codes to view the Annual Meeting will be posted here as soon as they have been arranged.
