The following planning application will be considered by Darlington Borough Council’s Planning Committee on Wednesday 9th June, 2021 at 1.30 p.m. in the Sports Hall, Dolphin Centre, Horsemarket, Darlington.
21/00223/OUT/ Outline application with details of access, appearance, layout and scale (landscaping reserved for future consideration) for the conversion, partial demolition and rear extension of public house (Sui Generis) to form convenience store (Use Class E) with car parking and associated works (Amended plans received 17th May 2021)(Amended Description). Platform 1, Darlington Road, Middleton St. George.
The meeting will be open to the public.
Witnesses to proceedings will be limited within the Government’s COVID guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone concerned. This includes Members of the Planning Committee, Officers and nominated speakers who contribute to the decision making process, members of the public who wish to speak (up to 3 in favour and 3 against) and the Parish Council.
The entrance to the public will be off Houndgate/Bull Wynd – please do not use the Dolphin Centre main entrance.
It would be helpful if those members of the public who wish to attend can arrive at the meeting between 1 p.m. and 1.15 p.m. and inform staff of their name and details of the application they are interested in.
It is possible to submit a short representation in advance of the Committee which the Planning Officer will summarise at the meeting. This should be submitted via email to email@example.com to arrive by 4th June, 2021.
